According to the download page here:
http://www.linkedin.com/static?key=ie_toolbar_download

The requirement is IE 5.5 or 6. Not IE 7.

So it's not surprising that it doesn't work correctly with a beta version of
IE that it doesn't claim to support.

Subject: IE7 or FireFox and LinkedIn companion toolbar?

Anyone here using the LinkedIn companion tool bar which gives you the
ability to bookmark searches, people, etc with either Firefox or IE7?

I can't gt the companion toolbar(bookmark) to show itself in firefox and
when I use it in IE7, I can book mark things, but then can't go back and
see what I've bookmarked.
