A grateful collegue gave me a brand-new Canon printer/scanner because it didn't
fit in her cabinet(!), I know one shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, but
I have realized that it is an expensive printer to have hooked up. I have used
it three or four times during the past three months and it is now out of ink!
It has been running some kind of a cleaning cycle every day, possibly to
prevent the nozzles from clogging (something that never happened to my old HP
printer), but more likely to generate ink sales! No wonder the printer is so
inexpensive to purchase.
