Hi,

My ADSL account includes 5 hours/month use of hot-spots, usually in a certain chain of hamburger restaurants. If I *really* needed to get online that badly in Belgium, where I'm never far from home/friends/clients, I guess my budget could stretch to a vanilla shake!

BTW, in the properties for my Wifi connection, there are 17 networks listed! I don't recognise most of them. Maybe the PC picks them up when I'm driving around! And I thought it was hibernating when I close the lid!

Regards,

Richard.be

When I opened the message, I found that Wayne Johnson had written:

The only thing that prevents me from logging into that service is a UN
& PWD.

Yesterday I noticed a "hot spot finder".

I think the range was 500 feet in "clear areas".

Are there better ones?

I don't understand that much about WiFi, but, in keeping with what you
said above, what good will it do to find a "hot spot", if you can't use it?

We travel a lot, and that would be ideal...............but only if one can
connect.

I suppose it would only be good to locate "commerical" hot spots where
one could "pay to use".

Thanks,

Jim
