Did you save the change? You might swear blind that you did, but maybe you
only thought you did, or that you planned to do it, but you didn't. Follow?

PS. still struggling with SMS (Short-term Memory Syndrome). I think my

That's it - all up and running but - nobody could access the server?
Logged into the ADSL Router setup page and found that the address was
changed for the FTP-Server to 05 from 02. So I went into the firewall,
WAN connection routing etc and change 02 to 05. Could now log on to the
server and the persons wanting FTP access could also log on.
Last night All dead again - nothing had been switched off - well the
server was running 24/7 but the other computers were switched off
Saturday night. Went into the Router setup and found that for some
strange reason the Server had been reassigned back to 02 so I had to
reset all the addresses for the server.
What's up doc?
