Last summer i got my college senior a Dell 3100. When on busienss trip over
the winter, the tablet hard drive crashed and i had to get a latop to get me
through the trip. After she graduated, we traded the laptop for the
desktop... and i put Vista on the desktop. It's a slug with only 512 ram...
but otherwise not bad, except for the security crap that makes it hard to
watch MLB.TV. (Two weeks after that trade, another daughter needed a laptop
to take with her to chicago for the summer... and the first one wouldn't
trade back. :( )
