I'm a happy user of xxcopy.  I'm not sure if it has all of the capability of 
xcopy (I think it does) but I find it much easier to work with.

XCOPY can exhibit certain irritating limitations, for example,

There's a better commercial version, XXCOPY (with free version for private
use):

ROBOCOPY on the Windows XP Support Tools is the tool that I use when
I normally would've used XCOPY, or XCOPY32:
