PART 2 of 3

I reboot without the external drive and PM says, there is an extended
partion that should be and Extended-X partition as asks to fix it, I give
it a go ahead, reboot back into PM, resized the H: drive to take up the
rest of the disk space, run PM disk check on c: and h: drive, both pass,
reboot into windows, now try playing videos and images on h: drive and
they all work, Yippee!

So Questions
- Why didn't Acronis Disk director pick up on this issue
- Why didn't ghost flag this issue with partitions when cloning

So, I'm packing up to leave, by this point it's almost midnight and I've
been onsite about 8 hours and my GF's about to disown me :-( I run most
of the applications to make sure they all work, all seems good, he sits
down as I pack up and notes that when he goes into his Citrix login page
in IE, he cannot type anything into the username/password fields The
fields are not greyed, they just act as if they are static images, you
can't click into them. Same thing happens with his banking site and some
other site. Using Firefox, he's able to enter uid/pw fine. I sit back down
and try to repair IE, using the web based IE6setup.exe file I get from the
ms download site. It says IE6 is already installed and do I want to
reinstall/repair it, I say yes, click next a few times and get a message
that there is not enough space on the c: drive, that the drive is 40gb and
it needs 1.4mb (or some other small number) to install. My computer shows
31 or 40gb free space. Clicking next does nothing, clicking cancel is only
option. Try the same install from a cd I have with all the IE 6 SP1
install files, same error.

Next, hit google, tried a suggestion to remove the files from the
ProgFiles\Intenet Explorer\Uninstall Information directory, same error
message. Next try an mskb article about setting the registry key for
IsInstalled to 0, same error message. Also tried add/remove windows
components and deselected Internet Explorer, reboot and reselect IE, it
goes though and says it's already installed, do you want to repair, I say
yes, it gives disk space error as above, try this again and say to restore
previous windows settings, reboot, still can't enter usernames/passwords
in ie. Throughout this I am rebooting as I try stuff, I think after
changing the registry key, on reboot it says that IE is no longer
installed do you want to remove your customized settings for this
application. The first 3 or 4 times I said no, eventually I said yes with
no change in resolving the problem. Tried a few other suggestions found in
the MSKB and googling to no effect.
