Only problems that seem to be encountered are:
Where the BIOS on the system motherboard doesn't want to recognise the
drives as bootable
I.E. it will not run the software that handles the OS startup selection
software from it.

and some RAID setups

That is not a problem if simply using the drive as an application, or data
store, but if you want to boot from it be careful to check it does work in
the intended system before losing the SATA drive

HOWEVER

Consider very carefully if you want the entire 200GB to be a single
partition
That's a lot to backup, and restore, and where are you going to put the
backup image
and are you always going to do incremental backups, or do quarterly full
partition images
Also with FAT32 partitions there is a limit to the max size of the partition
(about 30B), and files of about 2GB
so you should, in my opinion consider 20-30Gb for the OS partition, that
should normally be a primary partition, but don't have to be unless it's
also going to be the partition holding the booting software
I'd then put in a spare partition for a copy of the working OS partition
and make the rest of the drive a single extended partition split into about
50Gb NTFS partitions
holding your applications (office etc) on 1, your personal (typed in) data
on another, and then use the remainder as a store for backup images, MP3's
video etc.

It's also worth assigning any CD/DVD drive a letter up near the end of the
alphabet so it doesn't change as your partitions get altered.
there's lots of software that doesn't recognise that the CD drive letter may
change.
