There are limits, but not these. A FAT32 partition can theoretically be as large as 8 terabytes. WinXP will not create a FAT32 partition larger than 32GB, because NTFS is available there and is a *much* better choice for large partitions. FAT32 doesn't really scale all that well. But you can create very large FAT32 partitions in Win98 or WinME (presumable also with Partition Magic and other third party programs) and WinXP will happily use these partitions. The largest file a FAT32 partition can handle is 4GB, minus a few bytes IIRC.
