When I opened the message, I found that Kylde had written: > oh my, have you never tried foxit, and setting it as the default app > within your browser to handle pdf files? NOTHING is simple with acrobat, > try foxit, right-click a pdf download link, save the pdf, then open it > with foxit, you'll be amazed at the speed compared to adobe. THEN > integrate it into your browser
I did download and install it. Don't want to fool with downloading the .pdf file and THEN opening it. Take a look at: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/manuals.taf?f=form&ItemID=92 860 This is about the only time I use a .pdf file. Acrobat is slow, but I can open that .pdf and get the info I need quicker than with the FOX. Tried it. Didn't like the way this particular operation worked. If you find a smooth way to do it using Foxit, let me know. I'm not brand conscious.........'cept with Best Foods Mayo <smile>.
