Wanna bet it doesn't open within an IE window? And it doesn't even
have the Adobe Acrobat tool bar
1 Maybe that's the cause for our
crossed communication.

Take a look at these two urls:

1. The item:

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=451
98

2. After clicking on "Download Product Manual":

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/manuals.taf?f=form&ItemID=45
198

3. The .pdf file..........in a NEW IE Window:

http://www.harborfreight.com/manuals/45000-45999/45198.pdf

It certainly is a new window, right? Are you saying this isn't the way it
should work?

Or is it possible that Harbor programmed their site in a way you haven't
seen it work before? Or maybe I've slept too many years <smile>?

Or maybe "what we have here is a lack of communication"?

Now look at the "Specification Table". What I want to do is highlight it
and save it to a file.....like I have always done before. However, I can
only copy and paste the text.....even when I select copy with formatting.
Looks like this (only part of it shown deliberately:

Weight
690 lb.
Capacity
6 Cubic Feet
Drum Diameter
28"

I can use the camera icon and then "paste special" and the entire table
will paste into whatever app I'm using.

There is an option when I right click in the app I'm using to "Export to
File", but as yet I haven't been able to export it into an acceptable file.
Try it!

That's fine! But, I'm just curious as to why I can't do it the way I did
before.

So, at this point, it's no big deal and if you folks don't want to spend any
more time or bandwith on it, that's fine with me. I have just a touch of
an obsessive-compulsive nature <smile>.

Regards,

Jim
