You put surge protection on the coaxial cable coming into the cable modem.

Subject: Surge protecting 10/100 Base-T cable modem connection

How can I surge protect my cable modem connection?

I have an APC Back-UPS XS 1200 that does not have a jack for the 10/100
Base-T Ethernet connector that comes out of the cable modem.

What is the suggested way to supplement the APC with surge protection
for the cable modem connection?

Thanks!

George
