So how do you explain the tree that explodes from a lighting
hit? :) It must be a Gazillion volts ! <vbg>

The explosive force comes from the water in the tree's sap turning
into super-heated steam by the heating effect of the current flow
through the trunk. The wood can't contain the pressure and bang!
