The press reports of the 'anti-span' organisations
that have been sued for adding some organisations
to their list of sources considered 'spammers'

and Denial of Service is a criminal offence in some countries

Cynicism yes, but [/sarcasm]? me?

You've only got to see the recent media report detailing where a pensioner
was taken to jail for after being abused by a group of young people
and the senior London police (Blair) person indicated it's safe to leave
your doors unlocked in London
(He didn't appear to have added that:
That is provided you don't expect the insurers to pay for your loss and
damage, and don't expect the police to take action to evict your visitors)
