backed up (man I love ghost), tried that, no change. Killed Kerio,
uninstalled UPnP and Internet Gateway Detection in add/remove, windows
components, networking services, rebooted, no change, re-installed both,
rebooted, no change, guess I'll have to live with it until I re-install
XP. Thanks for the input everyone, appreciated
