I was referring to the start-menu shortcut in the PopFile directory. Duh!! Reason why I forget: yep, I too found the systray icon to be buggy and, as Rob suggested, just made it go away. > ...creating yourself either a Bookmark to the main > POPFile Interface page or a desktop shortcut to the same. PF already does that -- the start menu directory has "run ui" "shutdown popfile" "shutdown popfile silently", etc, links and I've always just used those. And that was what I was referring to when I mentioned about just going to 'preferences' and making sure the port was correct [I had to change all my shortcuts to :9000 when I moved PopFile to an alternate port] > Personally I have a desktop shortcut and it fires up the POPFile UI > flawlessly. Just so, although in truth, I can't remember the last time I needed to access PF directly. :o) /Bernie\ -- Bernie Cosell Fantasy Farm Fibers mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Pearisburg, VA --> Too many people, too few sheep <-- -- ---------------------------------------- WIN-HOME Archives: http://PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM/archives/WIN-HOME.html Contact the List Owner about anything: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Official Win-Home List Members Profiles Page http://www.besteffort.com/winhome/Profiles.html
