Good point - I'd even *forgotten* that PF had a system-tray icon.  I was 
referring to the start-menu shortcut in the PopFile directory.  Duh!!  
Reason why I forget: yep, I too found the systray icon to be buggy and, 
as Rob suggested, just made it go away.

PF already does that -- the start menu directory has "run ui" "shutdown 
popfile" "shutdown popfile silently", etc, links and I've always just 
used those.  And that was what I was referring to when I mentioned about 
just going to 'preferences' and making sure the port was correct [I had 
to change all my shortcuts to :9000 when I moved PopFile to an alternate 
port]

Just so, although in truth, I can't remember the last time I needed to 
access PF directly.  :o)
