According to this M$ KB article one can access one's OL search folders via OWA:

It doesn't matter where the items are located in your mailbox because Search Folders allow you to view them all in one place. If you use Outlook Web Access when you are away from the office, you can still see your Search Folders. However, to access the Search Folders while you are using Outlook Web Access you must create or modify Search Folders when you are using Outlook with Cached Exchange Mode turned off. 1. In other words, are there any disadvantages to turning Off Cached Exchange Mode? FWIW This is an Internet hosted exchange account, not one that I have through an employer. I have for the purpose of getting my email pushed to my PPC/Phone.
