FWIW, my comment was aimed at those who are worried that MS is too
slow with the patch - it's easy to turn off rendering and you'll see
little effect from it. Disabling javascript also works but breaks a
lot of pages. And for those who don't know how to disable vml, just
copy and paste from the web page.

That is what we are doing (and it is easier to do in domains).
Most folks on this list know how to do these things. It's the
masses that click on anything that comes their way that this
will affect. And most everybody here that is in computer
support knows there are a *LOT* of those. InfoCom didn't go
Yellow just for nothing.

This was just a heads up for those folks that support those
masses. Come to think of it, if they support those masses then
they should have already known about the alert, so I just
wasted everybody's bandwidth. Sorry about that. I see what you
mean Wayne, about virus/whatever alerts. They don't do much
good for this list. They are better suited for the newbie
lists. :D
