I recently needed to reinstall my Windows XP Pro OS on my Fujitsu Seimens PC.
The HDD has three partitions C, D, E. During the install the normal formatting
of the drive took place BUT could not complete on C: (warning but no error
message to explain why). However on D: it was successful and installation went
smoothly. It now means though I have got Windows installed on D; instead of C:.
I have tried to format the C: partition from My Computer\Local disc C: right
click \ format closing all windows visible, but this produces the same result,
possibly because it is still seen as a system partition, as seen in the Disk
Management Utility.

What I would like to do is to format the C: partition and then change the drive
letters so that programs are on C: and not D:.

Any help and/or suggestions would be most welcome
