Kylde, etal,

Interesting.
I'm running XP Pro, have an SD card and have no problem.
Tried it on my wife's computer (XP Home) and can duplicate your problem.

Are you running XP Home?

Robert

Whenever I try to delete an mp3, OR format the card from within xp, I
get an error "this disk is write protected". Googling, this seems to be
a common error message, and the only answer I could see was "throw it
away", anyone any better "fixes"?
