Nice idea,

Been that way before

Found that it was cheaper to buy 10 of the twin fan caddies than to try
getting (I think it was 3) fans as 'replacement' parts.

Drive is already in a new caddy
  (from the stock left from that purchase
    - as per usual, whatever you want is at the back of the stock pile)

Sometime I'll need to start switching fans to get 1 good caddy from pairs
with failed fans

Drives now running at 30, 30 and 34 centigrade the (currently) hot one has
the OS and most of the applications on it
That really highlights the effect of having a fan for each drive - not
running over-spec, but getting near it
Those caddy's are plastic, so they tend to hold the heat in, rather than
conduct it through to the casing etc.
