Check for documentation on the manufacturers site and on the CD about the
motherboard
also, if you nought it separately from the case - check for documentation in
the box,

Does your system have a USB floppy drive

Also - do you need to jumper the hard drive to work with the motherboard

And .. have you considered your backup/recovery strategy - from corrupted
partition tables through, duff boot files, OS  not booting, and the booted
system not functioning

If you are not happy with booting recovery CD's, I'd suggest including a
small recovery partition - partition management and backup/restore software.
(minimal OS - no userid protection - after activation you ain't going to use
it when online)
