At the end of the day we, the general public are being screwed/conned,
call it what you will, left, right & centre !

Take the Digibox/Set top box ! Everyone will have to have one. Fine !
But what about non free to air channels ? Ah Sir you will have to buy
a new Digibox ! The new one has a card slot in it ! Not only will it
be three times the price, but you will have to buy a subscription to
get an access card !! Not only that but if Sir doesn't cough up
regularly, we will turn off your ability to watch TV at all..........

The next con is HDTV non of the existing boxes will receive it !!
Hang on.. This new 42" HDTV ready set I just bought !! Will need a
new set top box.

I'm sure that you will see a pattern here.
