There were no changes between RC3 and final - same number of bytes anyway. *shrug* The easiest way to get a legitimate download is to go to Mozilla's ftp site and get the nightly zip file (or installer) that corresponds to the release date. When starting up the zip, just make sure to point it at the correct profile.
