I have now installed FF 2 on 3 systems:
PC 1 Had 1.5.0.7. I did an in-place upgrade. The FF app title says
'Mozilla FireFox'
PC 2 Had 1.5.0.7. I did an in-place upgrade. The FF app title says
'Mozilla FireFox (Build 20061010203)'
PC 3 Initially had 1.5.0.7. I had a seperate install of FF2 RC2 whose
app title said 'Mozilla FireFox (Build 20061010203)'.
Both versions of FF were uninstalled, CCleaner used to clean up the
Registry, folders were deleted and system rebooted. FF2 was installed
and the app title now says 'Mozilla FireFox (Build 20061010203)'
All 3 systems used exactly the same installer.
Is anyone else seeing this or have an explanation/fix?
I tried installing an extension called Firesomething that lets you
change the app title but it doesn't seem to run with FF2, even with
Nightly Tester Tools disabling the compatibility check.
