I'm very sceptical ! We all know how M$ manipulates the market !
Lion and the Lamb springs to mind.
But if M$ is doing this as a form of market research to try and gauge
the uptake of Linux, evaluating the threat, then its one way of doing
it ! Since Redhat has been quite active in the patent field and could
be quite vulnerable to being taken over by M$.
I know that its too early to judge, but would that mean M$ gets a ready
made Linux distribution and a massive market too !
Remember that, in the 1980s, Microsoft was working on its own version of
UNIX. They licensed it from AT&T and renamed it Xenix. /Deja vu/?
