-> support -> FAQ currently number 8 IIRC 'How do I install under
Slackware'
or search on 'Slackware'
I presume you are running Slack 7.0 or later. You will need to create a
couple of directories in /etc/rc.d I recall.
If your Slack is v4.0 then it's a bit more fiddley, but still quite do-
able - all in the FAQ...

win4lin patches a couple of the key win95 modules I think (kernel32.dll
& krnl386.dll), and there are language specific checksums in
/opt/win4lin/patch/*. I don't know if you can (or should) force by these
checks

It would be ironic if there ISN'T Chinese support (soon, if not now)
given Netraverse' much-vaunted partnership with Red Flag!

Hmm - sounds like it doesn't like your CD!
look in /var/win4lin/log/*

You CAN get this with a wrong version of libncurses (you need v5.0, the
default with Slack 7.0, soft-linked if necessary to libncurses v4). But
it sounds to me like you're NOT getting far enough for that to be the
worry.
Good Luck!
