Yeah, I wondered about that.
I don't think a file-system type virus could do anything to win4lin (no
MBR to attach to, for one thing.)
OTOH, a microsoft-specific virus like iloveyou could work - if it only
relies on commonly available stuff and does not attempt to do anything
to the file system.
I typically disable all virus checking on linux boxes and never open
email in windows....
