I had win4lin working great with mandrake 7.1. I have just upgraded to
mandrake 7.2 and have installed win4lin 1 as per the instructions at
http://www.pclinuxonline.com that also appeared in this user's digest
courtesy of Bill Reynolds. Everything appears to work except for printing.
When I send something to print either nothing happens or a blank page is fed.
The commands that i have used in the win4lin printer definitions work fine
from a linux console but not from win4lin. The printer drivers (in win4lin)
are the same as were installed under mandrake 7.2. Mandrake 7.2 uses cups but
i don't see that this should matter as the commands are the same ie: lpr -P
printername filename. Any ideas? Anyone got the same problem? Should I try
win4lin 2.0?

Cheers
David.
