    Thanks for the suggestions!! However, i am remotely logging in from my SGI
mc/ to the Win4lin location which is on the SuSE Linux m/c. In fact, i tried
using the kstart, but to no avail. Is it not possible to pass to the "win"
command the geometry parameters as arguments??

     Also, in the Setings panel in Win98, the Colors menu shows True Color (24
bit) only for Screen are "640 by 480 pixels" and for the other screen
resolutions, it shows 256 Colors. Is this interfering with the window size??
