Hi
I'm just about to download and try the final version with my license.txt,
but the later evaluation versions gave me the same problem as you
described.... What you need to do is run the script (as root)
        /opt/win4lin/postinst_rpm.sh
which is what is exceuted on a redhat system as part of the installation.
I have no idea why this doesnt get into the debian "postinst" control
file after the "debianification" of the rpm package.

After I did that everything worked for me.
This last worked on the win4lin_5.1.0e-2_i386.deb that I created using
"fakeroot alien --to-deb Win4lin.....rpm" on a debian 2.2 system

I imagine the final 2.0 version would be the same...
If i encounter further difficulties I'll report back, but I have to
keep using my current windows session for a few hours to finish something
off before I'll be able to try..

Hope that helps
Cormac
