Who - the users?

2.4 is not out yet (or if it is, it's only been out for days).  A little
hard for a commercial outfit to support a product that does not
officially exist and that has had major changes incorporated late in the
development cycle.

I know for a fact that these folks have been doing their best to bring
out 2.0, deal with windowsME, and all the released linux distros.
Commercial developers typically do not devote a lot of time to
beta/vapor ware until it is solidified enough to use commercially - say
around 2.4.5 or so if it's anything like the 2.2 kernels.

Your comments do not add in any way to furthering their efforts.  This
list is for users - no promise on the part of netraverse to monitor, or
reply to, any of these messages, though they do their best, I'm sure.

You may get a little bit more support on the beta list, which is devoted
to the bleeding edge stuff that you're asking about, and where some
discussion has already taken place.

How about a little holiday spirit there, bud?

Merry Christmas and thanks to everyone at Netraverse for a great product.

I'm with FT on this..I've shelved win4lin a long time ago in favour of VMWare. The 2.4.x kernels are hardly old news or "bleeding edge" anymore.
VMWare pursues a very aggressive policy of 2.4.x compatibility and are very prompt with support and upgrades, as are other commercial linux product vendors such as 4Front Technologies (commercial OSS support).
If NeTraverse is truly serious about support and keeping up with their competition I submit that they've had ample time to provide beta 2.4.x support.

My $.02
