Viktor,
Let me first say that I was not inferring that
the directions I was following was at fault. Your
directions were very clear and very easy to follow and
I thank you for them.
What I was actually highlighting was the problem I had
AFTER I followed the directions and how confusing it
was that all my kernels wouldn't boot. As someone
pointed out, it's probably a problem with my grub
configuration (although I can't figure out what).
At any rate, I was able to get back up with a boot
floppy and I'm working on fixing the problem so I can
get back to a standard working Mandrake 7.2.
Thanks again for the directions and I will be using
them again when I get back to where I was to see what
I did wrong.
The other thing I was getting at was that it was
frustrating that it was taking so long for particular
kernel support to be there. Amanda Owens has
addressed that which I appreciate.
Thanks again,
Rick
