So, I finnally get around to giving Win4Lin a shot. However, I'm running Red Hat's latest public beta (Fisher aka 7.1 Beta). I've downgraded to 2.2.18 and have the appropriate patches for Win4Lin. I've got the neccesary RPM installed (5.1.1c-1) and I get far enough to load the CD. I did have to add a symlink for the ncurses error, but that then got me past creating the dos images. So, as near as I can tell, I've got the CD copied and the dos images created. However, when I go to run 'win', I get a window that says: Install Windows9x from /var/win4lin/dosroot/wincabs. Windows 98 Second Edition ENGLISH And it just sits there, doing nothing. I get no hard drive activity light. So, any ideas? Yes, I know this isn't a suported configuration, but -surely- someone has tried this. Thanks, Mike -- The revolution will be synthesized. -- MDFMK _______________________________________________ Win4Lin-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.netraverse.com/mailman/listinfo/win4lin-users
