Whenever I want to kill Win4Lin, I just kill the first Win4Lin pid, without any
additional switches. After a second or two, Windows is gone, and I can restart
without problems. Have you tried this way?

Nigel

Subject: [Win4Lin-users] Max user complaint/Shift-F12/dosexec

It happened again. This time I exited from a hung session
using Shift-F12 and still got the maxusers complaint. I
then cleared all dosexecs from the process list - and still
got it. I've attached the process list to see if it offers
any clues.
