This may or may not have any bearing on your problems as my experience here
is just on Windows, not on my Win4Lin machine. For the first time since I
have been using Norton Antivirus, their latest update won't install on my
regular Windows ME machine. The symptoms are very similar to what you're
reporting. The progress bar runs to 99% complete, and then on my machine,
just sits and waits, apparently doing nothing. I found that if I just walked
away and came back 30 minutes later, I had a message saying the upgrade had
failed.
So, my input is that it could be a larger problem that's just starting to
surface.

I am trying to isntall Norton AntiVirus Coporate Edition 7.0 on my Win4Lin
system. I am installing it from a nav9x.exe file. it goes through it's
expansion of files it needs, then the setup wizard goes through it's
initialization, get's to 99 percent, and then comes up with the error "There
wan an error loading transman.dll" Has anyone had this problem? Has anyone
been able to install this? Does anyone want a dos log? :)
