Hello Stephan,
You can install the 686 binaries on your machine using the rpm command:
rpm -ivh --ignorearch Kernel-Win4Lin2*.rpm
The kernels were built on a 686, but should run just fine on a 586.
Alternatively, we do offer patch files for Mandrake 7.2 on our
kerel patching page, as well as updated instructions on how to apply
our kernel patch to your source code. You can find this page at:
