Hello Richard,

The window behavior you describe is sometimes seen in KDE2 - are you
running
KDE2 on your laptop? We are looking into the cause so we can solve this
problem.
However, there is a way to work around the problem (at least, it works
for
me on my personal KDE 2 install). It was suggested by another customer.
Here is
the relevant command:

kstart win --window Windows -desktop 4 --maximize --ontop --activate
--geometry 1152x864

The first parameter names the Windows window 'Windows', the second sets
the KDE
desktop you want it to start on. Maximize maximizes the window. The
important
one is the 'geometry' - this sets the geometry of the Windows window.
So, if
you want it full-screen, set it to your screen resolution and it should
open
the window full screen.
