Currently within the Win4Lin session there is no network card,
hence no MAC address.
Flexlm seems to not like the winsock.dll that Win4Lin provides.
In the past someone had a problem with Flexlm and it turned out
that Flexlm was hardwired to require a certain feature that is
only in Winsock 2.0, even though it never seemed to actually
use that feature. Win4Lin uses the Winsock 1.1 interface.
This might be the problem. So we can say that Flexlm is broken
but that does not solve the problem for you. In a future Win4Lin
version will provide some kind of NIC access and/or allow the
use of the standard winsock.dll.
