Hallo,
I was wondering if isomeone tried to play the old Dos and nonDirect X games
under Win4Lin. I tried with Wolfenstein 3D but win4lin crashed almost
immediately.
Did someone have some experience with this, not so serious, argument?
And do you know something about implementing DirectX?
I would need it almost only for 2D games (Heroes of Might and Magic 3,
Wargames...), so there will not be speed or graphic card problems as with 3D
games (I thing).
Maybe someone succeded in "patching" the system as with the network component
with Outlook and Exchange?
The last question.
I have, for working reasons, a dual boot machine with win2000 and Mandrake
7.2, I tried to use wine with no success. Do you think I could tell wine to
use as windows directory the one created by win4lin (I use win98 SE)?
