At issue when I posted was not that you weren't entitled to your opinion
or entitled to the right to wonder - but rather that you were asking Mike
(who gets the brunt of people's wrath again and again around here) to
*speculate* on something where, no matter what his answer, you or other
readers will likely be unhappy with it and will take it out on him. Why
not just wait for the company to post its upgrade policy and then take
your complaint to the people who make the decisions? I know that Mike is
a tireless advocate for customers and faithfully takes their opinions "up
the ladder". I know this because I work at NeTraverse (system
administration). I don't think we should take advantage of that by
asking him to post his conjecture and then either disliking the conjecture
or trying to use what he posts as opinion to get something different from
what the company finally offers.
