Indeed. I'm going to try and get the money together to buy a full version of
v3.0 when it's available in Australia - now that I do not feel I'm forced to
do so. It's a principle thing, which is not surprising since we are linux
users and are fed up with some of the strategies used by MS et al.
In all it's been a difficult situation. I would have prefered to have kept
using v2.0 and paid an upgrade if I wanted the features of v3.0
For netraverse, however, this may have been too difficult re linux 2.4 - no
point in going on about that.
I'm happy and I will continue promoting the product to other users as it is a
good product for what it does.
The biggest downside at the moment is the lack of win ME support as I have
win 95 and win ME - but only a crappy OEM 98 restore CD...
Ah well, can't have everything, and generally 95 does what I want under
win4lin.
BTW, I have installed Mandrake 8.0 and so I'm about ready for v 3.0 ;-)
