I have a particular problem. I have installed MDK8.0 and have tried to get
my Hauppauge WinTV card to work. MDK found and set up the card and I can
get Xawtv to show a picture but no sound. Anyone have any experience with
this problem? My hardware is as follows: AMD DURON 750Mhz chip
512 megs ram
3dFX Voodoo 3 video card
SBLive value sound card
Hauppauge WinTV pci tv tuner card
I know this has nothing to do with Win4Lin but if I can't get this card to
work then Linux won't be much good to me. All of the hardware works fine
under windows. What am I missing? I count myself an experienced newbie. I
can get the disto installed and working, but I have yet to compile a kernel.
