I've used Win4Lin 2.0 on eDesktop 2.4 using a provided kernel - at least
when using an IDE boot disk; SCSI boots required a custom kernel. I'd hoped
to
dispense with such nonsense since I rebuilt my system as SCSI-disk only.

But instead, running the netraverse_installer I'm told my Distribution,
Version and Linux Kernel Revision are "Unknown". But eDesktop 2.4 is
supposed
to be supported! Aside from a Caldera-provided linux-kernel-binary update to
2.2.14-6, this is completely *stock*! So why can't I get this installed?

My next step is to install Red Hat 7.1 on my second box and try that one.
