I had printer problems under RH6.2 and W4L 2.0 the resolution was:

The issue I was having was a result of my /var/tmp directory did not have
the
correct permissions.  Once I set the properly (chmod 777 /var/tmp), I can
print directly from Windows using RH6.2 Kernel 2.2.14.
