I'll ask a basic question, sorry.

Are you sure you're booted into your win4lin kernel?

To verify,
grep mki /proc/ksyms

If you receive no output, then you're not using a win4lin enabled kernel. 
This has
been our current experience.

Also if you would like to try and get another angle on the situation, you 
can try to
install the cabs using the command line installwindowsCD as root. The installer
uses this as well.
