If you upgrade your system to the next version of SuSE, then you should
only have
to remove the existing Win4Lin Kernel, then install the win4lin enabled
kernel for that
distribution. Now if you wipe your system during the upgrade system, then
you have to reinstall
everything. If you want to back up data, win4lin stick files in the
following places
/var/win4lin - cab files are the most prominent item here
/opt/win4lin - various win4lin files / scripts.
/etc/default/merge - contains global environment variables
~/win - your personal windows install
~/.merge - your personal windows config files and
/usr/bin/win4lin-install - the installer
Drive C: is your windows drive, ~/win
Drive D: is mydata directory ~/mydata
Drive J: is the shared directory /var/win4lin/dosroot
Hope that helps shed some light on things.

It's in there for future use. At some point in Win4Lin's life it may make it's
way towards the top end of the things to add. To date, there have been other
items which we felt were higher priority.
