I had the same problem. I fixed it by deleting my windows
installation, win4lin 2.0, and booting from my older (non-Win4Lin)
kernel. Fortunately for me I didn't have too much in my Win
directories that needed saving/rebuilding.

You might be able to mv your win directory to win_old or something
like that, deleting Win4Lin 2.0 from the /var directory, booting from
a non-Win4Lin kernel, then re-installing from scratch. When it is
done re-installing, mv your new win directory to win_fakeout or
whatever, then mv your win_old directory to win. I don't know for
sure that this will work, though, and it will be a bit of a drastic
experiment. I hope somebody has a better answer if rebuilding your
win directory from scratch would be too much of a pain.
