Because of problems trying to get vnet working with version 3.0 and my system
(Mandrake 8.0) I decided a fresh install might help. I went through the
process of removing win4lin back to pre-installation state. Appeared to be
complete.
Downloaded the installation stuff again and started fresh, about halfway
through the users window's installation it failed and I was not able to
continue. Thought oh well start again.... wrong, I have now deleted
everything related to win4lin that I can find on my machine and tried to
start fresh again. Win4lin-install thinks I'm still in the install users
windows portion and will not let me install from the netraverse site.
I'm a registered user and have been for quite a while. Win4lin2.0 worked
quite well, but I was anxious to upgrade to 3.0 with the 2.4 kernel
capability and Mandrake 8.0 support. Anyone have any ideas?
