I am hoping the list can help. I sent a support request to Netraverse yesterday.
Today, I went to add an addendum that I installed the 2.4.3 win4lin kernel manually,
but I was not allowed to log in. When I requested my password by email, I got na
email that i DID NOT have a password!

I had asked a question before, when I had trouble with RH7.0 Install. Well, I
upgraded to
RH7.1, with kernel 2.4.2. I also sprang $90+ for the Win4Lin 3.0. BUT, I can't
install it.
When I type "win4lin-install." (Or click on it in the KDE window, I get the
graphical installer. It says "State of System checked," and "Windows Archives will
now be loaded......" Then I click NEXT, and
get a "Internal installwindows error 92."
It never asks me to reboot as the instructions say, nor does it ask for
registration, license code or anything. I get no kernel error message. Also no
/var/win4lin..." directories are made, and I cannot get an error message, as
described in the manual using support.sh (there is none).
What is wrong? I am really getting discouraged after buying both a new Linux
Distribution, and the Win4Lin CD, to have nothing work.
(Note: I installed the RH7.1 2.4.3 win4lin kernel from my CD, in hopes that would
help. It did not. Netraverse appears to have deleted my account, so I ask the list
for help). If NT gave a phone number for support, I would feel better about it!
